Theresa Kelly

I take a strengths-based, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach to supporting clients on their paths of healing and self-discovery. Grounded in meeting people where they are, I help clients identify their strengths, understand their needs, and move toward the changes they hope to make. I bring more than ten years of experience in educational, community, and clinical settings.

As a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from King’s College at Western University, I offer individualized counselling informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My work focuses on trauma, emotional regulation, life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social and family dynamics, and coping skills.

I am committed to collaborative treatment planning and providing affirming, accessible, and inclusive care. My background in person-centered planning and accessibility advocacy—particularly in post-secondary and public school environments—shapes my belief that healing happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed and not like yourself, I am here to offer a warm, non-judgmental space. Together, we will bring compassionate curiosity to your experiences and reconnect with your sense of safety, agency, and authenticity.

Outside of my clinical work, I value balance, connection, and personal growth. Mindfulness and self-reflection deeply influence both my professional practice and my daily life.
